The challenge

Eight days ago I ran my first ever marathon.

It was wonderful, emotional and magical. No where near the 5 hours of pure torture I was expecting. The crowds were magnificent. I ran 26.2 miles grinning like an idiot. Crossing that finish line was an incredible moment. So much so that I wanted to do it again pretty much immediately.

So I set myself a challenge for 2016.

I want to run not one but 3 marathons, 3 weekends in a row. Brighton, then Manchester and finally finishing with everyones dream marathon - London.

Sounds insane but I think I might just manage it. I'm currently working on the logistics of making it happen.

Three is my lucky number.
